Roots Factory in Kuwait set up by Saudi Paper Manufacturing

Dammam-based Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company (SPMC) announced recently the latest developments regarding the operation trials of Roots Factory in Al-Shuwaykh, the port area in eastern Kuwait.

The company announced on the Saudi Stock Exchange Tadawul, that the installations of all machines and on-site test operations have been completed, electricity has been secured, and commercial operations have begun.

Sources within the company spoke of the positive impact this would have on the company’s financial statements. It was also clarified that the reasons for delay in the previously announced date were due to the procedures and government approvals needed to introduce electricity connection in the Kuwait plant.
