Riyadh’s Al-Kharafi Co Installs KBA Rapida 106 in Dammam
Riyadh-based printing and packaging services provider Al-Kharafi Co for Paper & Printing Equipment has announced the installation of a double coater Koenig & Bauer Rapida 106-6+LTTL in Dammam.
“We have been providing printing equipment and integrated packaging solutions in the Saudi market for over 20 years. This is our fifth installation of the new generation Koenig & Bauer sheetfed machines,” says Ahmed Fayez, General Manager at Al-Kharafi Co for Paper & Printing Equipment.
The Rapida 106 boasts a raft of important features that boosts performance by 30 percent. With printing speeds up to 18,000 sheets per hour, the Rapida 106 is a highly productive sheetfed offset press in medium format that can handle a range of substrates ranging from paper to cardboard, from film to corrugated board. While the machine’s fast-reacting measurement and control technology ensures consistent print quality with minimum wastage, its significantly shorter makeready times guarantees higher production output.
