The iconic Dubai World Trade Centre will host the much awaited Gulf Print & Pack 2022 from 24 to 26 May, 2022. The event – expecting a high turnout with the pandemic showing signs of a decline in major parts of the world – is gearing up to showcase more than 1,000 products and solutions in this year’s edition. Set to take place at the DWTC’s Sheikh Saeed Halls 1 and 2, the exhibition will feature the latest machinery, materials, and technological innovations from hundreds of local, regional and international exhibitors, presenting more than a thousand solutions and products in this exceptional edition.
Gulf Print & Pack is the only dedicated commercial print, label, and package printing trade show in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, supporting the industry through education and networking for senior level printers in the industry.
With more opportunities in print now than ever before, Gulf Print & Pack 2022 gives a chance to discover solutions to help business growth in the new world of print.
Organized by Tarsus Group – a UK based B2B events and media group – the event will give unparalleled access to an audience ready to equip themselves with knowledge and solutions to move their business forward. It is also a leading print technology sourcing show for printers and Print Service Providers (PSPs) from across Africa, GCC, the Middle East, and South Asia.
The show will feature a comprehensive three-day programme that will address the issues facing the industry today, a cutting-edge feature area showcasing the latest innovations, live demonstrations of the latest machinery and materials, an opportunity to connect directly with leading suppliers, and a much needed chance for the industry to meet in person with a wealth of networking opportunities.
The trade show is not only the source of perfect print solutions, be they smart labels, substrates, software, wide format roll printers, digital embellishment, RFID tags, and more; but also to reconnect with the people who make this industry what it is. The world of print comes very much alive at the Gulf Print & Pack, featuring the latest smart technology, materials, and digital equipment from the leading manufacturers, besides a wealth of educational sessions.
This year’s edition will feature 60 exhibitors from China, Egypt, India, Italy, Netherlands, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and UK, besides the host nation UAE. The exhibitors cover all the fastest growing market segments, including banners, digitally-printed textiles, direct mail, display graphics, educational and children’s books, and photobooks.
Canon Middle East will return to the exhibition to present a range of the latest technologies and innovative solutions. Senior Regional Marketing Manager Ayman Aly of Canon Middle East says, “During the pandemic period, we witnessed a major shift from offset printing to digital printing. Commercial presses are now more ready than ever to adopt digital printing technology and its applications. This has been a golden year for inkjet printers globally and we look forward to showcase the advantages and benefits of this technology at Gulf Print & Pack. In line with the global trends, Canon will highlight its capabilities in the field of inkjet printers, as well as other important technologies such as wide format technology, the versatile Colorado 1650 printer and Arizona 1360 GT, as well as how our products operate from prepress to the end product.”
India-based MLJ Industries will introduce a range of new products at Gulf Print & Pack including self-adhesive labels, pictorial labels, barcode labels, and removable silicone liners for applications in the FMCG and automotive sectors in the Middle East and Africa markets. MLJ is developing several new products for the MEA market, including an alternative to clay-coated kraft paper.
Another Indian company set to enter the UAE market for the first time and officially introducing itself through the event is Varshil Packaging, a Gujarat-based manufacturer of label and film stock, which will display its stock of paper labels, graphic labels, and paper based on foil, and stock film labels intended for offset printing and digital printing.
Alongside a range of educational features on industry trends and workflow automation, a special feature of the show is the Décor Lounge, where suppliers will exhibit the full range of growth opportunities for commercial and packaging printers. Visitors will be able to experience everything from digital textile and fabric prints, to digitally printed wallpaper, corrugated furniture and display units, digitally embellished luxury packaging, and personalized photobooks.
