Print 2 Pack 2024 to be a Landmark Event, Grows 80% Bigger
The 16th edition of Print 2 Pack, the international exhibition dedicated to the paper, cardboard, printing, and packaging industries, is all set to be the largest and most ambitious event in its history. Spanning over 20,000 square metres, a substantial 80% increase from last year, the exhibition will host over 420 companies, reflecting the sector’s growth and innovation.
Taking place from 8-10 September, 2024, at the Egypt International Exhibition Center (EIEC), the exhibition is held under the auspices of several key government bodies, including the Presidency of the Council of Ministers; the Ministry of Industry and Trade; the Ministry of Environment; the Export Council for Printing, Packaging, and Paper; and the Arab Federation for Paper, Printing and Packaging Industries (AFPPPI).
A notable feature of this year’s exhibition is the significant rise in international participation. 120 exhibitors from China, Germany, India, Italy, Kuwait, Singapore, Turkey, the UAE, and the US have confirmed their participation, highlighting Print 2 Pack’s growing global appeal.
Print 2 Pack 2024 will showcase some of the latest state-of-the-art technologies and innovative solutions from the print pack industry. The exhibition comes at a time of transformative changes, including the liberalisation of import policies facilitating increased imports of machinery, production lines, and spare parts.
Well Planned for Unique Visitor Experience
While Hall 1 is dedicated to the paper and cardboard industry, Hall 2 focuses on packaging, printing, and related sectors. The specialized areas aim to enhance visitor experience and ensure they can easily find the latest innovations relevant to their needs.
The exhibition expects a footfall of over 20,000 specialized visitors. Efforts in marketing and promotion have been intensified to meet this target.
In addition to showcasing technological advancements, the exhibition includes panel discussions on a variety of topics including the role of the paper and printing industry in environmental sustainability and contributions to attaining the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Print 2 Pack General Manager Emad Shaalan highlighted the event’s significance amid the country’s current economic conditions. He noted that recent economic reforms, such as the liberalisation of the exchange rate and improved currency provision, have positively impacted the sector and facilitated increased company participation.
