Paperworld Middle East is Ready for Business

Paperworld Middle East, the largest international trade exhibition of paper, stationery, and office supplies industry in the Middle East opens its doors on December 14 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The three-day event, in its 10th edition, is organized by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, the Dubai-based subsidiary of Messe Frankfurt, the world’s largest trade fair and event organizer.

Paperworld Middle East returns this time with its full complement of international and local exhibitors of office, business, school, and creative products, featuring more than 150 exhibitors from 39 countries. The co-located Gifts & Lifestyle Middle East will on debut showcase some of the most innovative design-driven solutions for interior designers, distributors, and retailers of mid to higher-end gifts articles, decorative dining products, crystal wear, and finished leather goods from 60-plus exhibitors from 16 countries, across its distinct segments of Giving, Dining, and Lifestyle.

The exhibition will feature the entire gamut of paper, stationery, and office supplies, along with gifts and lifestyle products. Product sections on display will include office supplies; school articles; office paper and transparency paper; gift articles including corporate gifts; printers, copiers and OEM supplies; arts and crafts supplies; wrapping products; party and festive articles; and household paper.

Paperworld Middle East launches an array of features this year for a more knowledgeable, productive, and fruitful experience.

The Hub Forum is the region’s first ever platform to bring together industry experts, leading analysts, and decision makers shedding light on e-commerce, digital, and sustainable trends in paper, stationery, office supplies, and gift industry. Some of the key speakers include George Baramakian, Regional Business Group Leader, 3M; Marius Ciavola, CEO, Tradeling; Rashed Al Mulla, Vice President – Marketing, Dubai CommerCity; Richard Nicoll, CEO, Liquid Retail; and Konrad Schwitter, Managing Director, Office ONE, amongst a host of others

Another astonishing feature is Artistry Workshops in collaboration with Dubai-based Skilldeer which will welcome art scholars, art school faculties, and enthusiasts to learn and develop multiple creative skills. The workshops conducted in two sessions on December 16, amalgamates ancient art with contemporary through calligraphy and acrylic painting sessions.

Yet another section that deserves mention is the Playworld Village dedicated to some serious fun for the little ones stacked with baby and infant toys, educational toys and games, children’s clothing and accessories, bicycles and sport equipments, dolls, model kits and electronics, and party items.

The Green Room for sustainable stationery and office supplies, and the Premium Club exclusively designed to give complimentary benefits for senior buyers and key decision makers in the paper industry will be the event’s other special features.

The exhibition expects to draw a large number of retailers; distributors and wholesalers; corporate and commercial end-users; schools and educational institutes; buyers of corporate gifts; and toys, baby, and kids stores.
