Nabeel Printing Press Boosts Capacity With A New Speedmaster CD 102
Nabeel Printing Press in Ajman recently installed an all new Speedmaster CD102-4L with all the bells and whistles. Nabeel is practically a Heidelberg house having a number of German manufacturer’s equipment including Speedmaster CD 102-5LX, SM 52, GTO’s, Polar cutting machine, Stahlfolder and last but not list Fujifilm CTP.
The company is a major commercial printer. Nabeel produces a wide range of printed products including magazines, stationary, presentation packs and you name it. Jain Sathian director of Nabeel Printing Press says in order to keep up with increasing demand for printing the company opted for a new Speedmaster CD 102. “We needed more capacity because our customers can’t wait. Fast turnaround is vital for us. Our major customers are hotel chains, Emirates Airline, Jumeira Group, Rak Ceramic, Rak investment, Armani and so on. We are also into packaging but not in a big way. For short run jobs we are using a digital Océ machine. Following the Dubai world Expo announcement the demand for printed products is increasing and the quantities are also growing. Our customers now want more quantitites. We are also planning to invest in finishing equipment in near future,” maintains Sathian.
Nabeel Printing Press was established in 1991 and has 150 staff which includes sales people. Nabeel Printing Press is a typical commercial printing operation that is capitalizing on UAE’s rising economy. On the other hand printers in Ajman have been quite successful in attracting printing jobs from Dubai. Print houses in Ajman are now investing in new equipment including 4 and 5 colour presses to respond to the demand for more printed products and higher runs. A trend that is in clear contrast with the global trend.
