Signtrade Flaunts Major Brands at FESPA Middle East 2024

Signtrade, a leading force in the signage industry for over 35 years, achieved resounding success in the inaugural edition of FESPA Middle East 2024, hosted at Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC) from 29-31 January, 2024. As the founding exhibitor and Platinum Sponsor, the Dubai-headquartered company demonstrated unwavering commitment to innovation, sustainability, and industry leadership.

Signtrade had the distinction of having the largest booth in the exhibition. The 1,200-plus square metre booth showcased world-leading brands and innovative end-to-end cutting-edge product line and turnkey sustainable solutions. Registering more than 5000 potential customers during the three-day exhibition, Signtrade closed over 150 deals, cementing its position as an industry leader.

The exhibition, coinciding with Signtrade’s 35th anniversary, provided a momentous platform for the company to celebrate its long term industry partnerships and showcase its prowess in diverse industries, including signage, packaging, textiles, art, and architecture. Adopting a user-centered approach, Signtrade captivated visitors with inspiring applications, emphasizing the practicality and innovation inherent in its portfolio.

Live demos and product presentations unveiled the latest innovations from world-renowned partners such as HP, swissQprint, Mimaki, Handtop, Summa, Epilog, Gravotech, TPS, TigerTec, Etchcut and ST-Tec. The extensive material portfolio, featuring 3M, Metamark, Starflex, LucoLED, and more, highlighted Signtrade’s dedication to quality and diversity.

There were many show-stoppers within the Signtrade pavilion, with swissQprint’s Kudu flatbed printer stealing the spotlight. Kudu achieved an impressive 304 m² per hour output with 10 versatile colour channels, including neon pink and neon yellow. Its UV-curing inks were VOC-free and bonded effectively on diverse materials like acrylic, wood, and metal. Kudu’s ability to print on transparent and dark media, coupled with neon effects under black light, made it a standout choice for the potential clients.

HP showcased the full range of HP Latex printers, from entry level to commercial and industrial-level high-end models. The hands-on experience demo included R2000, 2700, 3600, the flagship 700 & 800 series, and the entry-level 630, 500, and 335 models. Sustainable HP Latex printers are known for their outdoor durability, versatility across common media types, high quality, odourless prints, low maintenance, and reduced environmental impact, making them a preferred choice for clients.

3M presented a diverse range of high-performance materials and innovative systems, from traffic signs to road markings. Their extensive range of graphics & signage materials caters to vehicles and transportation, windows and glass, buildings and walls, floors and sidewalks, as well as illuminated signs and displays. Meanwhile, Metamark launched its premium series that included architectural finishes, vinyl, printable colour media, car wraps, and frosted media.
