HP To Showcase The Latex 300 At SGI 2015

HP announced that it will present the new HP Latex 300 series in Dubai, during SGI Dubai.

At HP’s booth, 1-D08, visitors can experience first hand the benefits of the HP Latex 310, 330 and 360. The HP Latex 3000, designed to deliver cutting-edge, durable, high-quality and high-volume printing, as well as the HP Scitex FB700, HP Designjet T3500 and HP Designjet Z6800 printers will also be showcased on the booth.

Small and medium PSPs have long used traditional eco-solvent ink devices for outdoor print jobs, which lengthen turnaround times and limit application versatility. Powered by third-generation, water-basedHP Latex ink technology, the HP Latex 300 Printer series helps low-volume customers efficiently handle more outdoor and indoor applications with improved durability and image quality.

“Sign making and printing companies in Dubai, and across MEMA, are continually looking for a differrenciated offering that will help them tap into new markets and grow their business” says Yeliz Alaman,  MEMA Marketing Manager, HP Large Format Business. “During Sign Dubai, visitors to the HP booth will experience first-hand the latest printing platforms and solutions from HP. They will be able to learn how HP’s unique and innovative printing technology can help them unleash and  easily expand their large-format printing capabilities, offer new applications such as interior decoration and wallcovering, and build a healthier production environment. All contributing to the business bottom-line.”

In an area dedicated to wallcoverings and wall décor, HP experts will also be on hand to demonstrate how HP Latex technologies, enable PSPs to enter new growth markets. The extensive print applications will offer visitors the opportunity to see, touch and learn the unlimited versatility of the HP Latex printers. This innovative area will showcase a diverse range of printed applications and colour consistency across a wide array of substrates, from self adhesive vinyl and  pvc banners to films, papers and textiles.

New printing solutions to accelerate business growth printers to suit a variety of  commercial requirements

The HP Latex 300 series helps sign shops, quick printers and small to medium PSPs easily expand large-format printing capabilities, offer new application areas and build a healthier production environment.

Designed for easy operation in small spaces, the entry-level, 54-in HP Latex 310 Printer offers the benefits of HP Latex in a compact model with front-media loading to maximize the production area. The 64-in HP Latex 330 Printer combines application versatility with affordability, handling larger, heavier rolls and printing up to 50 m2/hr (538 ft2/hr). The higher-volume, 64-in HP Latex 360 Printer prints up to 91 m2/hr (978 ft2/hr) and increases application versatility with an ink collector for porous textiles. The printer also features automatic front-to-back registration for printing double-sided banners.

The six-colour, 3.2m HP Latex 3000 Printer is an industrial printer built for 24/7 operation. The system can run at speeds up to 120m2/hr (1290ft2/hr) when printing at outdoor quality. Water-based HP Latex 881 Inks, developed for the printer, offer scratch resistance comparable to hard-solvent inks when printed on self-adhesive and PVC banner substrates.

HP Latex Printing Technologies were introduced in 2008 as a water-based alternative to solvent ink technologies. Since then, more than 15,000 HP Latex printers have been shipped worldwide and more than 100 million square meters have been printed with HP Latex Inks. Water-based Latex Inks also produce odourless prints, making them ideal for an extended range of creative indoor and outdoor applications where odour is concern, such as hospitals and schools.
