JOPEX 4 Sees Uplift for Jordan Packaging Companies
The 4th edition of Jordan Packaging Exhibition (JOPEX 4) was held on 3 June, 2024, at the Jordan International Exhibition Center at Mecca Mall, in the capital city of Amman.
26 Jordanian companies participated in JOPEX 4. Industry stakeholders, both local and international, attended the exhibition to know about the latest developments in the packaging industry in Jordan. On the sidelines of the exhibition were interesting sessions on the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the packaging industry.
The Eastern Amman Investors Industrial Association (EAIIA) organizes the exhibition to create a network between industrial and commercial sector companies, in addition to identifying new innovative products and ideas in the field of packaging solutions.
Dr. Iyad Abu Haltam, EAIIA Chairman, says, “The exhibition, in its fourth edition, witnessed widespread interest from various industrial and commercial sectors due to the creative solutions it provides in the packaging industry for various companies. The printing and packaging sector in Jordan has become competitive, both at the regional and global level, in providing innovative packaging solutions.” Dr. Haltam also emphasized the importance of the packaging and printing industry as a link between the producer and the consumer.
The exhibition invited industrialists and merchants to learn about the packaging solutions provided by the participating Jordanian companies, and created a platform for collaboration that will reflect positively on the national economy.
Dr. Haltam also referred to the role of the packaging sector in supporting the progress of the Jordanian industrial sector, stressing that the development achieved by packaging companies is the main reason for the arrival of industrial exports to about 140 countries around the world.
