JING Tea Announces Sustainable Plans in UAE

Renowned premium tea brand JING Tea has announced a couple of key initiatives in the UAE to support the country’s hospitality industry without compromising on quality, while looking for ways to drive change and deliver sustainable solutions.

JING’s collection of teas are carbon neutral certified and are available as loose leaf tea that requires less processing and packaging, and reduces waste. Adding to their range of plant-based and biodegradable tea bags, JING has also announced the launch of their new JING 100% plastic free tea bags for its range of single origin teas and infusions.

JING has also invested in their first UAE-based operations to expand their regional footprint, with new local warehousing and fulfillment that aligns to the company’s commitment to delivering superior customer service, allowing faster and more flexible deliveries through their exclusive UAE distributor Bidfood UAE and its foodservice e-distribution platform myBidfood, the first such online delivery system in the country that enables customers to order at their convenience, anytime and anywhere.

Susie Goldberg, Head of Sales & Marketing MEAAP at JING Tea, says, “We are delighted to announce the launch of local supply in the UAE as well as our increased focus and support of delivering sustainable services. Through these initiatives, we believe that we can deliver the most unforgettable tea experiences for our customers and their guests while playing our part in reducing our impact, which has always been at the heart of our business approach.”

Inspired by Asia’s great tea cultures, JING Tea was founded by Edward Eisler in 2004 in London, and continues to source single garden teas from across Asia, including some of the finest black tea, flowering tea, green tea, herbal tea, oolong tea, puerh tea, and white tea from China, India, Japan, Sri Lanka, and Taiwan.
