ITC Packaging, Erum Enter Moroccan Packaging Market
Spanish companies ITC Packaging and Erum Group have joined forces to introduce their packaging solutions in the Moroccan market.
The companies have created a joint venture, ITCErum Packaging, which will enhance the international presence of their packaging using Erum Group’s international implementation network. Morocco is the first country in which the agreement will be embodied. The strategic agreement will also let the two companies to expand the portfolio and the commercial catalogue with new products. The new company will offer a wide range of products for home and food outside of Spain, manufactured at Erum Group’s factory in Tangier.
ITCErum Packaging will benefit Moroccan customers due to the proximity strategy with which Erum has been working for decades, improving logistics, reducing transport costs, and promoting sustainability and circular economy. ITC Packaging, on the other hand, will contribute its portfolio and know-how to develop new, innovative, and sustainable packaging concepts.

With three production plants, direct customers in more than 30 countries, and a turnover of 78 million euros, ITC Packaging is one of the main manufacturers of thin-walled plastic packaging in Europe, producing polypropylene injection containers with IML decoration, and a PET container blow-moulding division. Specialised in the development of food packaging such as baby food, dairy, and ice creams, they are also present in sectors such as cosmetics and household cleaning, with innovative products such as detergent capsule packaging.
Erum Group has a presence in over 120 markets spread across five continents, with management and production plants in 22 countries. The corporation is diversified having plastic injection divisions, connected road technology, environmental consultancy, waste management and treatment, home products, logistics and sustainability projects through circular economy, and a subsidiary for automotive products.
