Italian Company Launches OPEN & CLOSE Range of Labels

Arconvert-Ritrama has launched the Open and Close range of self- adhesive labels.

Open & Close is the range of products designed for all types of “open and close” packs. The personal cleaning and disinfection of objects and surfaces around us requires increasing attention, especially nowadays that the whole society is playing a decisive match to defeat Corona Virus’ spread. The Italian manufacturer claims the thicker materials in the OPEN & CLOSE range are a valid alternative to rigid plastic lids, widely used in this sector: being thinner and lighter they allow to reduce the quantity of waste after usage.

Key features of the new products include white and clear polypropylene and polyester facestocks, adhesives with good solvent and moisture resistance, high tear resistance, and  clean removability. Main application areas of the new label stock are sanitizing wipes, household wipes, baby wipes, cosmetic wipes and toilet wipes.

HYGIENE FIRST

HIGH RESISTANCE
Open and close labels must facilitate the opening and correct closing of the package repeatedly, keeping the wipe moist and easy to use. For this reason, Ritrama’s OPEN & CLOSE self-adhesive films have been formulated and tested to ensure high resistance to repeated use, even if the adhesive part of the label is exposed to the product, ensuring that the content remains unchanged without releasing any trace of adhesive on the packaging. The range is composed of polypropylene and polyester films, white or transparent, for an optimal flexibility or rigidity, depending on the type of packaging; PET liners are available for high-speed dispensing process and “clear on clear” labels.
