Direct-to-fabric printer for soft signage and home textiles

The new Teleios Grande/H6 from d.gen is an entry-level option to its Grande G5 direct-to-fabric textile printer for the soft signage and home textile markets. The 3.3m, 6-colour machine prints at a maximum speed of 177sqm/hr and includes an inline fixation unit enabling finishing-ready printed output.A patented textile feeding system allows direct printing on most woven and non-woven polyester fabrics as well as mesh, canvas, micro fibers, Velcro, velvet, and very thin or even stretchable fabric. The printer has a 5kg/colour continuous ink supply system designed to be refilled with inks while printing.

d.gen has introduced a series of new models to cater to the productivity and quality requirements of small and medium textile print-service providers. The unification of all print engines on the Ricoh Gen5 industrial inkjet technology and the availability of textile pigment inks on almost all the platforms is part of the company’s strategy to offer maximum freedom of choice to customers.

The current range of d.gen printers is divided among roll-to-roll printers for paper and direct-to-fabric applications.

The completely redesigned Artrix G5 is equipped with sticky-belt for home textile and fashion applications with reactive, acid and textile pigment inks. The direct-to-fabric range starts with the entry-level Arachne Hexa H6, with a printing width of 1.8 meters, a productivity of 52 sqm/hr, 6 colours and the last generation of pigment inks, fed by high-capacity 5-liter tanks. Teleios Hexa is the sister machine, dedicated to soft signage and equipped with an in-line fixation unit.

The d.gen Grande is a growing family of superwide format textile printers. The well-established Grande G5 is available in the 2.6 and 3.3 meter widths, both equipped with in-line heavy duty heating unit.
