Intercol, a Canon Middle East authorised distributor in Bahrain, showcased Canon’s new line-up of mid and high-range colour iSENSYS laser printers and its imageRUNNER series at the first Canon ‘Open Day’ event in the kingdom, reports Trade Arabia.
Canon also displayed its printing products including the imagePROGRAF large-format printing solutions, Pixma inkjet, and also its latest efficient and intuitive Document Imaging Management System (DIMS) scanning portfolio, said a statement.
More than 100 local IT dealers and B2B customers from across diverse sectors experienced the latest Canon printing solutions including live demos at the event, it said.
Hendrik Verbrugghe, marketing director, Canon Middle East, said: “Canon has a very strong printer line up in terms of technology, performance and range and is one of the key players in the printing industry.
“With the new range of imageRUNNER, iSENSYS and imagePROGRAF printers, customers across various vertical sectors including education, healthcare and government can now maximise team efficiency and take control of print-related costs.”
Within its imageRUNNER series, Canon showcased the C250i, iR2202, iR2202n, C2225i C5255 and the iRADV6255 , along with Canon imagePROGRAF iPF750 MFP – its 36 and 42-inch large format printer.
The printers in its laser series included Canon iSENSYS LBP6230DW and LBP6030w, along with MF-212w, MF-217w and MF 229dw and it also highlighted its document scanners such as Canon DR-F120.
The event also focused on the printing and scanning workflow solutions such as uniFLOW, the integrated print and scan management solution by Canon and Universal Login Manager (ULM), Canon’s server-less solution specially designed for small and medium sized businesses.
