HP Unveils Breakthrough Solutions in Large Format Printing

Be they small Print Service Providers (PSPs) or large construction companies, organisations across industries are seeking innovative solutions to improve their operations, streamline processes, and expand customer base. To address these challenges and empower businesses in the future of work, technology giant HP has introduced new devices and solutions.
Versatile and Sustainable Printing
Small and medium-sized print shops have often struggled to find efficient workflows or resort to outsourcing, while larger PSPs seek solutions that can expand their offerings and execute short runs on both flexible and rigid media.
“We’ve heard from our PSP customers about the significant challenges they face when it comes to rigid printing, including space, cost, and operational limitations. As a solution to these, we have unveiled the HP Latex R530 printer, which offers significant capabilities in a smaller footprint and enables PSPs to overcome hurdles associated with rigid printing while taking advantage of new commercial opportunities,” says Daniel Martinez, Global Head and General Manager, HP Large Format Business.
The HP Latex R530 allows seamless adaptation between rigid and flexible applications, delivering high-quality output across various media types and enabling PSPs to tap into new markets and expand their print applications. The automatic recirculation and printhead cleaning enhances uptime and reduces maintenance costs. The R530 is also packed with sustainable features like direct-to-rigid printing which reduces waste, UL ECOLOGO-certified HP Latex inks, returnable maintenance cartridges, and 25% recycled plastic in its design. The HP Latex R530 Printer is expected to be available globally starting in April 2025.

Centralised Platform to Simplify Print Workflows
As PSPs need streamlined workflows that integrate with their technology, investments, and workforce, the new HP PrintOS print production operating system offers a centralised, real-time platform for order management and remote production control. The software optimises print operations, reducing inefficiencies and errors, enabling PSPs to enhance their workflows and deliver superior results. HP PrintOS Production Hub is expected to be available globally starting in May 2025.
