In the 29th edition, Gulfood Top Table returns as a key feature presenting a star-studded lineup of internationally renowned chefs, including Michelin-starred chefs, who unveiled the next culinary trend and food masterpieces.
This year marks a historic occasion, as for the very first time, Top Table is bridging the old world with the new. Chefs will be showcasing legacy and tradition in their masterclasses, demonstrating not only time-honoured techniques but also bringing forth the traditional methods of cooking and preserving food in a contemporary and dynamic manner.
Young chefs rewrite future flavours
Another highlight of Gulfood 2024 is YouthX Young Chef Challenge, the most career-defining competition for upcoming culinary talents who are rewriting the future flavours of the world. International finalists from Kenya, Saudi Arabia, UAE, and the United States, incorporating sustainability and zero waste themes in their menus, will be judged on their vision and industry acumen, menu engineering using themes, and presentation and taste.

Dubai World Cuisine is yet another exciting new feature providing a platform for homegrown chefs to collaboratively shape the cultural identity of Dubai and establish it on the world’s culinary map.
Championing innovative new products
As always, this year’s Gulfood Innovation Awards will honour excellence in new product development, championing groundbreaking new products launched within the past calendar year. The shortlisted nominations will be announced on 26 January, 2024, with winners announced on 19 February, 2024.
