This years’ ERA Packaging and Decorative Gravure Conference will be held on 7-8 November in Barcelona, capital of the autonomous community of Catalonia. The conference will discuss advances and latest developments in technology and markets for packaging and decorative gravure printing.
But besides these traditional items, there will also be a special focus on digital printing technology which is used for instance by some decorative printers on an industrial scale complementary to the gravure process, and the conference will look into the emerging markets such as in Asia.
The programme of the event will also include visits to the decorative gravure printer Impress in Sant Pere de Vilamajor and to the European headquarters of HP in Sant Cugat where digital printing technology will be demonstrated.
