Epson Eyes MEA Region with New Dubai Sales Company

Global technology leader Epson has established Epson Middle East FZCO, a new sales company located at Dubai Airport Freezone (DAFZ), as part of its plans to accelerate growth in the Middle East and Africa region.

To be operational in April 2024, the company reflects the huge potential Epson sees to accelerate future growth, as this is one of the fastest growing regions globally. Besides the MEA region, Epson Middle East FZCO also intends to target markets in Moldova, Türkiye, Ukraine, and countries in Central Asia and the Caucasus.

With governments placing greater focus on sustainability, which is also in huge demand in all key sectors – from tourism and hospitality to retail, entertainment, education, real estate, and healthcare – Epson’s technology will help support and encourage both consumers and businesses to invest in energy saving solutions.

As seen in different parts of the world, hybrid working and learning continues to see an increased demand for “work from home” and personal use printing, and Epson is well placed to bring in greater flexibility and support to this “remote work” shift.

Education has and continues to be a growth point for Epson in the region with schools seeing the benefits of Epson’s Heat-Free Technology when it comes to power consumption, time and cost savings, and improvement in learning opportunities for both students and teachers. Epson’s interactive projectors encourage better classroom engagement and ensure that all students can see and participate in their lessons. It also gives teachers scope to expand their lesson plans and involve all students in a new and interesting way.

Epson’s goal is to become carbon negative and eliminate use of exhaustible underground resources such as oil and metal by 2050.
