With the mutually beneficial partnership getting stronger, Al Eqtessad now offers customers in the broader Middle East and Africa (MEA) region access to a wide range of HP large-format printing machines.

Al Eqtessad supplies the full range of both HP Latex and HP DesignJet printer series, including popular models HP Latex 700/700W, HP Latex 800/800W, HP Latex 1500/2700, HP DesignJet XL3600/XL3800, and HP DesignJet T830/T850/T950 printers.

The impressive range of HP technologies positions Al Eqtessad to support print service providers as well as companies in various sectors.

“Our customers are based in all cities across Saudi Arabia,” says Oussama Nasr, National Service Director at Al Eqtessad Holding Co. “We have a strong presence in the production areas of key market segments such as government; education including universities, colleges, and schools; engineering and construction; gas and oil; and healthcare including hospitals.

“We also work with many customers in more traditional, print-based sectors such as graphic arts, copy centres, bookstores, and offset printing companies.”

Adding value for customers

Nasr says that HP is recognised as one of the leading brands and technology providers in the global print market. He added that customers across all areas recognise the HP brand name and the quality it represents.

“HP is a leading company focusing on printing solutions, developing the latest printing technology for customers worldwide, and it has a wide range of products in the market,” says Nasr. “HP adds value not only for us but also our customers.”

In terms of current demand, there has been a noticeable shift in customers requesting latex technology as opposed to UV printers. This has seen a rise in demand for HP Latex printers, with HP Latex 570 and HP Latex 800 proving particularly popular, observes Nasr.

“While the current focus is very much on wide-format printing and delivering solutions to customers in all sectors, there is scope for this partnership with HP to develop further. Last year, Al Eqtessad launched a new offering based on HP’s A4 and A3 printers, while also looking at adding 3D printing solutions for our customers,” adds Nasr.
