Abu Dhabi Government Services Go Digital

Abdulaziz Alkaabi, Director of TAMM Centers at the Abu Dhabi Digital Authority (ADDA), briefed on TAMM – a product of Ghadan 21, Abu Dhabi’s accelerator programme – and developed through the co-operation of all government entities in Abu Dhabi that provides a new generation of world-class digital government services and solutions to customers. This is, in addition to providing all means of support to government agencies in Abu Dhabi to enable them to provide integrated services and digital solutions that promote excellence and innovation, and support the Abu Dhabi government’s vision of a proactive digital government system.

Speaking to the Arabic daily Al-Bayan, Alkaabi said, “TAMM was able to achieve the goals of the Abu Dhabi government, which in turn is keen to provide all means of comfort to its citizens and residents, guided by the vision of the late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The digital platform has currently over 730 government services, including education, health, labour, housing, and transportation among others, providing its customers with a comprehensive range of government services through a single point of access at any time and place.” He also pointed out that all government services in Abu Dhabi will be provided digitally through the ecosystem operated by the Abu Dhabi Smart Solutions and Services Authority (ADSSSA) by early 2022.

Speaking about the new additions to TAMM applications, Alkaabi said that the Higher Committee of Digital Government recently launched the ‘TAMM Mobile Solutions’, with the aim of continuing the transformation process in the emirate, and a TAMM Mobile Service Center which aims to provide integrated digital government services with international standards for a wide range of customers, especially residents of remote areas. The TAMM Mobile Service Center will first be rolled out in Al Hudayriat Island, a popular beach destination in the emirate.

Launched as part of TAMM Cares initiative, another innovative mobile solution is the TAMM Van which provides services to senior citizens and residents, people of determination, and others who cannot physically visit TAMM service centers by providing the service of a TAMM mobile vehicle on request by calling 800 555 of the Abu Dhabi Contact Center to help them complete their transactions at home.

Alkaabi stressed that TAMM provides a comprehensive work system to enable government agencies in Abu Dhabi to exchange documents and data, which belong to individuals and companies, digitally through secure and reliable channels, while Abu Dhabi Pay, the digital payment platform within the ecosystem of Abu Dhabi government services, facilitates hassle-free, secure, and a standardized method of online payment for all government services in Abu Dhabi through a unified channel.
