SisTrade Displays Smart Software Solutions at GPP 2025
SisTrade, the Porto-based software solutions provider for the print and packaging industry, unveiled its Smart Packaging 4.0 Platform, an advanced solution designed to streamline the packaging production process at the recently concluded Gulf Print & Pack 2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This cutting-edge platform integrates successfully with IoT devices and production equipment.
Visitors to the SisTrade booth could experience AI-driven optimised production schedules to maximise throughput, instant access to KPIs tailored for specific operational needs through customisable dashboards, and cloud-first capabilities for robust and secure cloud access for anytime, anywhere management.
The Portuguese software company completes 25 years in the native vertical software business for the printing and packaging industry having market presence with customers and partners in 38 countries, ranging from the USA to China.
“What we offer is a complete solution under one umbrella. Besides new technological solutions, we also cover all needs of a printing house, from commercial management and detailed estimation down to inventory and advanced WMS to planning, production management, quality control, equipment maintenance, human resources, accounting, and energy management, with special emphasis on automation and data collection,” says Firas Masri, Director Country Managers & Partners, SisTrade.
The company has deviced a strategy to include all segments of the printing industry, be they offset printing, packaging, corrugated, security printing, flexible packaging, or label printing. All the graphic arts are covered into the system available in more than 14 languages, including Arabic. “All these give us benefits and advantages over our market competitors,” says Masri.
The decision to participate in the Riyadh show was automatic. “We have been participating in Gulf Print & Pack for more than 15 years, and since this year was the first edition done outside of Dubai in Riyadh, we were more than happy to participate and showcase our technologies in a new market.
“As per the figures, there has always been a huge growth potential for the printing and packaging markets in the Middle East, and Saudi Arabia is one of the top in this industry segment. We believe that printing and packaging is on an upward growth curve that will also be important for us as software developers,” explains Masri.
While digitalisation has caused a huge disruption in the printing industry, digital transformation and growing emphasis on sustainability is becoming part of business strategies the world over. With the current “go green” trend in Europe, SisTrade continues to transform the printing and packaging industry with smarter, faster, and greener solutions.
