Masar To Print Dar Al Ber Mus’haf
The Dar Al Ber Society (DABS) which is a 35-year-old charity association run by Dubai Government and the Mohammad Bin Rashid Quran Printing Centre (MRQPC) sealed an accord to produce the Dar Al Ber Mus’haf or edition of the Holy Quran.
The agreement was signed by Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, Member of Board Council and Executive Director, DABS, Faisal Bin Haider, Executive Director of Printing and Distribution Sector at the Dubai Media Incorporated, and Mohammed Kamel Al Haddad, Director of the Mohammad Bin Rashid Quran Printing Centre, in the presence of Hamad Al Zarouni, Executive Director for Masar Printing and Publishing, Hamad Muamar, regional manager for commercial development, Adli Shilan, manager of commercial development, MRQPC, along with a number of DABS officials.
Bin Zayed said. “The Centre, as part of the first phase, is to print out 200,000 medium-sized copies of the DABS Mus’haf in line with the set standards and specifications of writing, binding, authentication, delivery and storage.”
Bin Zayed stated that the Centre, in a later phase, shall be assigned to print out all sizes (pocket, medium, large, and Tahajud ‘late night prayer’) of the DABS Mus’haf.
“Dar Al Ber Society, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities in Dubai, has so far printed out over 6.5 million copies of the Holy Quran and distributed them for free as a gift on behalf of the UAE philanthropists to Muslims and Quran students in the country and across the world.”
Faisal bin Haider said the Mohammad Bin Rashid Quran Printing Centre is fully geared up to print out the Holy Quran as per the highest international standards in pursuance of the directives of His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
