Egypt Company Delta’s YoY Profit Sinks
Egypt-based manufacturer of packaging and printed materials, Delta for Printing and Packaging (DTPP) posted a 33.22% year-on-year (YoY) decline in net profit after tax during the first nine months of 2022, as per the company’s financial statement submitted to the Egyptian Exchange (EXG) on 10 November, 2022.
The company’s net profit after tax declined to 11.36 million Egyptian pounds (EGP) in the January-September period as against EGP 17 million in the year-earlier period.
Net sales rose to EGP 209.23 million in the nine months ending 30 September, 2022, from EGP 190.23 million in the same period last year. DTPP is actively engaged in producing, manufacturing, and printing packaging and wrapping materials such as cardboard, paper, plastic, and multi-layer materials.
Located in Borg el-Arab el-Gedida, a new, first-generation city in Alexandia Governorate, DTPP has been specialists for over 35 years in production of packaging and printed materials, including aluminum foil, cellophane, ethyl acetate, flexible printing and packaging materials, paper, and resins.
