Al Furat Fair Organizer hosted the 7th edition of the highly successful Paper One Show, the biggest and most important paper, printing, and packaging exhibition in the MENA region, on 7-9 March, 2022, at Expo Centre Sharjah.
CEO of Al Furat, Tarek Fakkas, expressed his happiness and pride in organizing this exhibition which is considered as the most important event in the paper, printing, and packaging industry. He mentioned that, as a result of well-planned marketing strategies and creative ideas, the show achieved great success this year recording a footfall of 8897 professional visitors from 98 countries. The show which ended on a high note saw a few paper exhibition organizers make proposals for future cooperation with the show.
Paper One Show’s latest edition brought together approximately 90 international companies from around the world under one roof. The latest products and technologies in the paper, carton, printing, packaging, and wrapping industries were showcased. Also featured were printing and wrapping machines and byproducts, production lines, raw materials, tissue paper rolls, wrapping paper rolls, wood-free paper, dyes and inks, and hygienic finished products.
The list of global exhibitors included some of the biggest names in the paper and packaging industries from countries including Algeria, China, Egypt, Finland, Germany, India, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Lebanon, Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, Taiwan, Turkey, Ukraine, and USA, besides the host nation.
On the first day of the exhibition, the organizer’s hosted a gala dinner at the 2020 Club by Emaar, the premium dining lounge located in Al Wasl Plaza at the heart of Expo 2020 Dubai. Sponsored by Saudi Paper Group (SPG), the dinner was open to 270 exhibitors and visitors to the exhibition. The dinner was preceded by an award ceremony where major paper companies including SPG, Abu Dhabi National Paper Mill, and Crown Paper Mill were acknowledged for their continuous support to the show ever since its inception in 2007. Guests were also taken on a tour to visit the Expo 2020 Dubai with its fascinating pavilions representing countries from around the world.
During the exhibition, Al Furat Group had also launched its new service, papercareers.com that provides job opportunities for applicants in the paper industry.
