Zahrat Al Wahah New Production Lines Begin Operations

Riyadh-based Zahrat Al Wahah Trading Company announced the start of operations of its new printing and packaging plant lines along with commercial sales.

The new production lines are part of its 70 million riyal capital expansion plan announced in April 2023 to diversify the sources of income, increase revenue, and improve the company’s financial solvency.

Besides land and construction of a building, the plan comprises a PET preform production line to diversify the company’s products, two plastic bottle cap production lines to meet increased market demands, two fully integrated printing lines with an annual production capacity of 3,180 tonnes, and two multi-product, multi-use packaging material production lines with a 10,850 tonne per annum production capacity.

In September 2024, the company announced the beginning of installation of the second printing line and completion of operational tests of both the first printing line and the two packaging lines (shrink and stretch film).

The company is anticipating an increase in production and sales growth, and results are expected to show in the 2025 first quarter fiscal report.
