Saudi Print & Pack 2025 to Highlight Industry Transformation

With less than two months to go, the state-of-the-art Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC) is gearing up to host the 20th edition of Saudi Print & Pack. The printing and packaging industry will convene at the four-day event to be held from 12-15 May 2025, highlighting the key industrial transformation sectors in the Kingdom.

Following the success of the 2024 event, Saudi Print & Pack 2025 will be held concurrently with Saudi Plastics & Petrochem 2025. The trade show is part of Riyadh International Industry Week (RIIW), the largest gathering of the most important industrial sector professionals in the MENA region, held under the patronage of the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources. The other two co-located events within RIIW are Saudi Smart Logistics and Saudi Smart Manufacturing.

Industry professionals from top local and international print and pack companies will join buyers and government decision makers to network, exchange knowledge, and showcase the newest and best in printing and packaging machinery, technologies, and goods and services that will transform the sector in 2025.

Saudi Print & Pack 2025

Saudi Print & Pack is a significant platform for the printing and packaging industry. The upcoming event will see over 490 local, regional, and international printing and packaging companies coming together to showcase the newest and best in print and pack machinery, technologies, and sustainable workflow practices, besides meeting buyers looking for smart technologies, especially manufacturers who want to integrate smart print and pack operations at the end of their smart manufacturing production cycles. Also joining them will be a drove of policy makers, industry influencers, professionals, and trader buyers to network and exchange knowledge that will transform the sector.

The exhibit categories for the 2025 edition includes printing materials and technologies, signs and graphics, 3D printing, packaging materials and supplies, packaging auxiliaries, and filling and packaging machinery.

The list of exhibitors features both local and international players including Al Sharq Flexible Packaging Factories, Al Watania for Industries, Elshark Factory for Rubber Rolls – Dorgham, Gulf Carton Factory Company, Gulf Integrated Industries Co., Reifenhauser, Roll-o-Matic, Saudi Plastic Factory Co., Shibaura Machine, SIMPEX, Uteco Converting, and Zamil Plastic Industries Company, among others.

The International Future of Industry and Supply Chain Summit will be held on the sidelines with industry experts speaking about the evolving trends and the future of the industry. Related workshops will act as platforms to introduce the latest technologies in the printing, packaging, plastics, and petrochemicals sectors, and the impact they have on related industries such as food and beverages, pharmaceuticals, industrial and consumer products, etc. The events and proceedings will also be shared online for the benefit of sector professionals around the world.

Saudi Arabia is one of the fastest-growing economies within the G20, with the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) projecting its GDP to increase from 1.2% in 2024 to 3.8% in 2025. Saudi Print & Pack 2025

The Saudi Arabia paper and paperboard packaging market size is expected to grow from $4.77 billion in 2023 to $5.87 billion by 2028, with growth projected for corrugated, folding cartons, flexible packaging, and labels at 4.23% CAGR for the 2023-2028 forecast period.

The Saudi rigid plastic packaging market is estimated at $6.83 billion in 2023 and is expected to reach $8.65 billion by 2028, growing at a CAGR of 4.84%. The increased usage of oxo-degradable plastics has led to growing demand for intelligent bio-degradable packaging materials.

Saudi Arabia is also seeing a steady growth in demand for the latest technologies in automated packaging market. According to VDMA, the Kingdom imported technology worth $258 million to retrofit and create smart printing and packaging facilities. The adoption of new smart technologies like robotics and artificial intelligence are also widely seen.
