Giffin, Favini Host Event to Celebrate Sustainable Innovation

Abu Dhabi-based Giffin Graphics, a prominent supplier of printing and creative industry solutions in the Middle East region, collaborated with Favini, the Italian manufacturer of eco-friendly specialty papers, to host ‘Crush the Night’, an exclusive reception at Ewaan, Palace Downtown, Dubai, on 28 October 2025.
The event welcomed distinguished guests from the design, printing, and creative sectors, including influential figures who actively shape the region’s visual communication and print landscape. The evening highlighted Giffin’s commitment to advancing sustainable innovation, promoting creative solutions that combine functionality, aesthetics, and environmental responsibility.
Central to the evening was Favini’s Crush, a pioneering paper range that exemplifies how sustainability can merge seamlessly with design excellence. Produced from upcycled organic residues such as citrus fruits, corn, almonds, cocoa, olives, kiwi, etc., Crush transforms by-products that would otherwise end up in landfills into high-quality, tactile papers. Its innovative composition reflects Favini’s dedication to combining eco-conscious production with creative versatility, offering designers and brands a unique medium that balances beauty and environmental impact.
Crush is manufactured entirely using renewable energy, and all unavoidable emissions are fully offset, achieving carbon-neutral production. It is FSC certified, recyclable, and biodegradable, reinforcing its status as a benchmark for sustainable manufacturing. Beyond its environmental credentials, Crush embodies the potential for innovation to coexist with responsibility, making it a preferred choice for companies committed to authentic and eco-conscious communication.
The partnership between the two companies extends beyond product distribution. It represents a shared philosophy of progress, blending Favini’s Italian expertise in innovative paper solutions with Giffin’s regional insight and leadership in advancing sustainable practices across the Gulf.
‘Crush the Night’ offered guests an immersive experience, allowing them to explore the texture, colour, and tactile richness of Crush papers firsthand. The reception also served as a platform for networking, knowledge sharing, and creative inspiration, fostering collaboration across the industry.
The evening concluded with a message of optimism, reinforcing the companies’ shared mission: to inspire the creative and print communities to embrace sustainable innovation, demonstrating that design excellence and environmental stewardship can thrive together in shaping a greener, more responsible future.
