Abu Dhabi to Host First-ever Additive Manufacturing Conclave

Manufacturing leaders from across the Middle East region will converge at the award-winning Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) to participate in AM Conclave Middle East on 13-14 September, 2023. The region’s first-of-its-kind event will see industry professionals, policymakers, hardware manufacturers, software providers, material suppliers, research institutes, and standards and certification bodies converging to learn, network, collaborate, and discuss strategies to incorporate additive manufacturing (AM) as part of their business.

The Middle East is witnessing a rapid growth in additive manufacturing, supported by favourable governmental policies to enhance local manufacturing supply chains and build diversified business models not entirely dependent on the energy industry. Policymakers throughout the region have identified the potential of this disruptive technology to accelerate manufacturing in some of the major industries including energy, oil and gas, defence, healthcare, aviation, maritime, and mobility, paving the way for efficiency, innovation, and sustainability.

“A common forum encompassing all the areas of additive manufacturing for the Middle East is the need of the hour. Our extensive experience in collaborating with industrial, government, and academic partners from various sectors, has helped us launch AM Conclave Middle East, a first-time initiative which aims to serve as a catalyst for knowledge exchange, networking collaborations to boost the adoption of additive manufacturing in the Middle East, and establish a reputable platform that benefits the entire ecosystem,” says Aditya Chandavarkar, Co-founder & Managing Director of AM Chronicle, a Mumbai-based information and content platform for the additive manufacturing industry.

The event will feature an application and technology focused conference mapping the latest developments and trends in the world of additive manufacturing. A high-quality technical conference, with an emphasis on application, technology, and business cases, will also be supported by a technology exhibition and a networking zone where industry stakeholders can find and experience cutting-edge solutions and exchange ideas.

The two-day conclave will have over 300 international delegates and 25 speakers from more than 15 countries.
