Brother to Launch DTRX Printer Series in January 2026

Brother has announced its entry into the next generation of direct to printing solutions with the DTRX series – a new roll-to-roll Direct to Film (DTF) printer, scheduled for market release in January 2026.
The new DTRX system, with next generation piezo printheads, is positioned for professional, high-volume operations. It features an 80 cm print width, supported by an 81 cm roll width, designed for consistent results on large-format projects.
The system utilises Brother’s specially formulated sustainable inks engineered to work with the manufacturer’s industrial print head technology, producing sharp, vibrant, and durable prints with every run.
To maximise uptime and maintain quality, the DTRX is equipped with an industrial maintenance station that includes automatic ink circulation and a wet wiper cleaner. This advanced, low-maintenance design minimises downtime and reduces the need for manual intervention during production shifts.
The DTRX is engineered to support businesses in achieving their growth objectives, whether for expanding product offerings or streamline existing workflows.
The printer represents a significant step forward in direct to film technology, offering robust solution for the modern, high-demand printing environment.
