Big Buyer 2024 Sees High Registrations
Registrations for the 28th edition of Big Buyer, the international B2B trade fair for Italian and foreign buyers of stationery, office, party, and creativity sectors, are now in full swing. Big Buyer 2024 will be held at Pavilion 3 of Allianz MiCo in Milan – its new venue – from 27-29 November, 2024.
The promotion of Italian products, the extensive and varied product range, the presence of the latest trendy collections and, especially the new Milan-based venue, are the value-added features of the highly successful number of registrations for Big Buyer 2024. Leading companies in the sector, long-standing brands, and new entrants, have confirmed their participation. Within a few days of opening the registration, the organizers have already registered over 140 brands.
The popular 100% business-oriented professional event promises to offer a comprehensive overview of the product range for the school, office, arts & crafts, creativity, party, and toy segments. The new venue marks a significant turning point, particularly in terms of centrality in the European scenario, with new opportunities, not only for Italian visitors, but also and above all, for foreign participants, thanks to a plethora of options in terms of facilities and means of transport to the city.
New strategic schedule
The dates for the upcoming event are strategically scheduled for buyers to plan their purchases. Wholesalers, office suppliers, mass market buyers, e-commerce, and retailers can benefit from the opportunity to assess and fine tune business agreements in time for the annual budget closures. In short, it is a key time for gaining an all-round and detailed overview of the best product ranges available, and this is far ahead of subsequent trade fairs.
New and upgraded concept
Faced with the rapidly evolving market – with the emergence of new distribution formats, the fast growth in e-commerce, interaction between different sales channels, and various unprecedented trends in global consumption – Big Buyer strives to provide a valuable contribution to understanding and capitalising on the dynamics currently underway. Accordingly, the organisers have developed a new project intended, first and foremost, to further expand the exhibitor and visitor target groups to the stationery and office world, providing additional opportunities to extend and enhance the potential offer, without affecting the core identity of the sector.
Spotlight on Italian excellence
In addition to major international players, Big Buyer 2024 will welcome some of the major Italian companies that manufacture their products locally as true ‘Made in Italy’ brand ambassadors. This adds an asset-value to brands and products through excellent design, intrinsic quality, and meticulous workmanship. The ‘Made in Italy’ concept will be the event’s flagship and promises to be highly appealing for Italian and especially international visitors.
Valued-added Workshops, conferences, and awards
Seminars, award ceremonies, special areas and much more will perfectly complement an edition that promises to be exceptional. Following its popularity at previous editions, Big Buyer is reintroducing the innovative COLORTEC LAB, a space dedicated to creativity, arts & crafts, and hobbies. This interactive workshop for launching and promoting the exhibiting companies’ products will also see students and emerging artists try their hand at creating original, trendy works, catching the appreciation of visitors. In addition, DIGITECH Point & Top Service, a retailer-friendly workshop in cooperation with Roland DG and BB Academy, will enable retailers in the stationery and office sector to embrace new ways of providing customised in-store services, materials, and products, which can make a real difference for POS.
Big Buyer 2024 will also feature the 4th edition of Green Future Award showcasing a flowerbed of eco-friendly products for enhancing the circular economy, and the 17th edition of Top Design Award, for the most innovative item on display this year dedicated to ‘Home Office Solution’. Making their debut this year will be the interesting ‘Children, Books & more’ section, which aims to create a synergy between the two product areas of books and stationery, and CALLIGRAPHIC Art, a space focused on those who love calligraphy, offering a variety of expressive and creative techniques via a path of discovery that enables retailers to transfer and organise themed and interactive workshops at their store for customers.
