Al Madina Printing and Publishing Company in Jeddah, which is specialized in printing books, magazines and newspapers, have opted for 2 new folding-machines from MBO to catch up with the increasing demand for books and magazines. MBO, manufacturer of folding technology and Alkhorayef Printing Solutions who is the exclusive distributor for MBO Successfully convinced Mr. Banaja managing director of Al Madina, about the established technology of the B30 folding machine and the quality and variety of the MBO product portfolio.
The B30 folding machine is equipped with a gluing-device, which allows production of booklets without stitching or sewing. The new B30 is ideal for production of 16 and 32 pages book signatures.
Al Madina Printing & Publishing Co. (MPP) was established in the holy city of “Al-Madina Al Munawara” on 8th April 1937 by the Hafiz brothers, “Othman and Ali “. The company started its activities with a weekly newspaper, using simple letterpress equipment. In the early sixties the press was moved to Jeddah.

We can also assume that digital printing systems will become more popular as the costs for the printer itself and the consumables will decrease in the near future.”
