Tunisia Hits 96% School Textbook Supply for 2026-27 Term

The Tunisian Ministry of Education has announced the completion of printing operations for school textbooks for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year. According to official data released by the ministry, the distribution to regional branches has reached a 96% completion rate, while sales figures have successfully touched 94%.

The National Pedagogical Center (CNP) has expanded its publication catalogue to feature 314 separate titles, resulting in a total production volume of approximately 15.6 million textbook copies. This inventory is strategically segmented into 206 student titles comprising 15.5 million copies, 93 teacher guides totalling 55,000 copies, and 15 specialised titles tailored for Tunisian expatriate students abroad. To streamline procurement for families, the ministry has also introduced a mobile-friendly digital service that allows real-time inventory tracking by region and specific retail points.
