His Excellency Dr. Ibrahim Ibrahim, former Economic Adviser at the Amiri Diwan, inaugurated the National Inks Factory Top Ten.

Rafah Muwaffaq Barakat, Chairperson of the factory’s Board of Directors, was in praise of the support provided by the state to the public and private sectors, particularly which extended to the local manufacturers.

Barakat says, “Our policies will be directed towards achieving self-sufficiency in this industry, to meet the requirements of all government agencies, institutions, and private sector companies, with products of high specifications and quality that meet their requirements, and save them material cost and time.”

She also stressed on procuring all the raw materials required from the local market and major Qatari companies to enhance the principle of self-sufficiency that the state is working to achieve in the industrial sector. She continued that the success that the company will draw in its business approach will depend on the advanced laboratory technologies in the industry, as well as on a workforce that possesses the skills, training, experience, and reliability in the production of a wide range of printing inks while ensuring high quality products.

In order to keep pace with the requirements of the local market and meet the needs of various types of printing machines used in various sectors, the factory has been equipped with light and heavy production lines, in addition to lines for filling, checking, and canning of the produced inks.

The company’s major focus is to keep in line with the aims of the Qatar National Vision 2030 to transform the nation into an advanced society capable of achieving sustainable development by 2030.
