FESPA, a prominent association for the print and signage industry, has announced the opening of entries for its long-standing Awards programme. The FESPA Awards 2025 aims to recognize industry leaders and will be held alongside the FESPA Global Print Expo, European Sign Expo, and Personalisation Experience in Berlin, scheduled for May 2025.
Speciality print providers and sign-makers are invited to submit their most exceptional projects. This global competition celebrates innovation and excellence, offering a platform for showcasing significant achievements and setting new industry standards.
Graeme Richardson-Locke, FESPA’s Head of Association and Technical Lead, and one of the 2025 Awards judges, expressed the judges’ anticipation: “We hope to see new levels of technical excellence and evidence of entries created with great care. This year, we are particularly interested in the use of sustainable materials, reflecting the industry’s commitment to reducing environmental impact.”

- Roll-to-Roll Printed Textiles
- Glass, Ceramic, Metal, and Wood Products
- Direct Printing on Three Dimensional Products
- Non-Printed Signage
- Functional Printing – Fascias, Dials, Nameplates
- Printeriors
The Young Star Award, for individuals aged 16-25 who are vocational trainees or students in digital or screen printing and design, allows entries in any print-related category. Richardson-Locke noted the excitement surrounding this category: “We are always impressed by the creative thinking and technical delivery in the Young Star category. The winner’s accolade marks a significant achievement, reflecting the high standards we maintain.”
The People’s Choice Award, open for voting from 6 January 2025, will allow the FESPA online community to vote across all categories. Additionally, the Best in Show Award and the Judges’ Award for Innovation will be determined by FESPA’s panel of judges, highlighting unique excellence in the industry.
Entries for the FESPA Awards 2025 are due by Wednesday, 12 December 2024. The shortlisted entries will be announced on 23 February 2025 and showcased from 6-9 May 2025 at Messe Berlin during the FESPA Global Print Expo 2025.
