Organised by RX Tüyap in collaboration with Turkish Packaging Manufacturers Association (ASD), the event celebrated three decades of growth and cemented Istanbul’s status as a central hub for the packaging industry across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.

The milestone fair showcased a record breaking 1,250 exhibitors from 41 countries, highlighting the latest innovations in packaging products, food and beverage processing, and printing systems. The key themes of sustainability, digital transformation, and food safety took centre stage, reflecting the industry’s evolving priorities.

Sustainability Takes Centre Stage

Eco-friendly materials, recyclable packaging, and other sustainable solutions were a dominant focus throughout the exhibition halls, aligning with the growing environmental awareness. The fair provided a comprehensive look at the industry’s strides towards a greener future, with solutions developed by key sectors such as cosmetics, logistics, and pharmaceuticals.

Record Attendance Boosts Business Outlook

RX Tüyap General Manager Berkan Öner reported a full-capacity event: “We had 280 international exhibitors representing 40 countries. An extensive global marketing effort drew more than 50,000 online registrations and contributed to nearly 80,000 professional visitors, including 15,000 international attendees.”

Türkiye’s Packaging Industry Eyes Export Goals

ASD President Zeki Sarıbekir reflected on the fair’s 30-year history: “We started off with just 50 exhibitors in a 1,000-square-metre hall. The industry recorded a strong performance, with $3.5 billion in exports and $1.4 billion trade surplus in the first half of 2025 alone. With the year-end export goal of over $7 billion, there’s optimism regarding the industry’s ambitious target of $10 billion in exports by 2030.”

Platform for Future-forward Solutions

Eurasia Packaging Istanbul serves as a crucial strategic platform for business development and knowledge exchange, showcasing the industry’s commitment to innovation in response to the expansion of e-commerce and increasing environmental demands. By bringing together the entire value chain under one roof, the event positions itself as a catalyst for shaping the future of the packaging landscape.
