SIGN Istanbul, Eurasia’s biggest advertising and digital printing technologies trade fair set new records for levels of industry participation. Taking place from 10-13 September 2015, this 17th edition of SIGN Istanbul attracted 438 exhibiting companies coming from 30 countries other than Turkey in the fields of Digital Printing, Textile Printing, SIGN Technology, Visual Communication, LED Technologies, Industrial and 3D Printing and was attended by 21,009 local and foreign sector professionals. On display were hundreds of the very latest and most innovative machines, equipment, technologies and applications occupying some 30,000 sqm, breaking all previous records in terms of the number of exhibitors, visitors and exhibit area.
Mr. Zekeriya Aytemur, Managing Director of organizer IFO Fuarcilik said, “Highlighting the market’s confidence in SIGN Istanbul as the premier marketing platform, the ratio of new exhibitors rose to 31% ensuring many new opportunities for buyers and specifiers to view and compare the very latest products. Most of the exhibiting companies have already booked for the next edition to be held in 2016.” He went onto say “SIGN İstanbul not only maintained its position as the biggest such trade fair in Eurasia, but also the most comprehensive with the widest range of products on display”.
Global brands including Canon, Efi, Epson, Fujifilm, HP, Konica Minolta, Mimaki, Mutoh, OKI, Ricoh, Roland, Seiko, Sharp, SwissQ, Xerox, Zünd took this opportunity to demonstrate their latest innovations in SIGN Istanbul 2015. Attracting great interest at the fair were digital printing machines in different formats ensuring faster and more cost-efficient print runs, textile printing machines, 3D print technologies, vehicle wrapping applications and the advertising workshop in which masters explained their way of turning knowledge into money.
The four-day event hosted 23900 domestic and foreign visitors when combined together with visitors to the 3D Printshow Istanbul. SIGN Istanbul 2015 attracted visitors from 74 countries mainly from Turkey, Iran, Bulgaria, Iraq, Kosovo, Georgia and Greece. Initial feedback from exhibitors indicated that SIGN Istanbul 2015 has paved the way for the sale of millions of U.S. Dollars of machinery and equipment with many new cooperation agreements signed.
