The Textile Printing & Sustainability (TPS) Conference, scheduled to be held at Radisson Blue Conference Hotel in Düsseldorf on 15-16 October, 2024, has announced its final programme. Launched in September 2022, the second edition of the conference will focus on sustainable and innovative practices within the textile industry, aiming to align with the European Green Deal.
The TPS Conference takes a maximally wide angle on the market and technology evolution. The conference covers the entire supply chain, involves manufacturers of products which support the handling of fabrics (pre- and post-treatment), the printing process itself (inks and equipment), as well as printers, value added resellers, and brand owners. From material science, through print systems, to micro-factories, and finishing – TPS brings together all those who drive change and contribute to innovation.
The two-day event will host discussions on technology, automation, and eco-friendly business strategies featuring keynote addresses and expert presentations. Some of the prominent speakers include Andreas Bayer, Dr. Daniel Waterkamp, David Sweetnam, Debbie Mckeegan, Dr. Judith Deriu, Stefan Schmidt, and designer Samira Lafkioui.
The conference will also showcase technology talks and solutions on hardware and workflow from leading industry suppliers including Brother, Kornit, and Mimaki.
On the previous day (14 October, 2024), delegates are invited to a tour of Kornit’s new Experience Center in Düsseldorf, to witness Kornit’s various solutions for markets such as fashion, home décor, sportswear, and customized design.
