Paris Packaging Week, Europe’s leading event for packaging innovation and design, is set to celebrate its milestone 25th anniversary on 5-6 February 2026 at Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
Since the launch of PCD in 2001 – the original event dedicated to the beauty market – the show has, over the years, expanded to encompass four market-specific exhibitions: ADF for aerosol and dispensing systems; PCD, covering skincare, makeup, haircare, and fragrances; PLD for premium and luxury drinks packaging; and Packaging Première, dedicated to luxury products, including fashion, watches, jewellery, and fine food. This year’s edition will be held under the banner of the ICONIC spirit, a theme emphasising Innovation, Creativity, Outstanding, Network, Inclusion, and Celebration.
Iconic Edition
With nearly 900 exhibitors expected – including Kurz, Heinz, Gainerie Moderne, and Arcelor Mittal – Paris Packaging Week 2026 is set to be Europe’s biggest event for packaging across the aerosol, beauty, premium drinks, and luxury markets. This year welcomes 155 new exhibitors, among them Carré d’Ébène, Drago, MCC France Ouest, and Thepenier Pharma & Cosmetic, bringing a fresh wave of creativity, new ideas, and bold projects to the event.
Over two days, brands, suppliers, buyers, designers, and innovators will meet to explore the latest materials, technologies, and design trends defining the future of packaging. Expect inspiring talks, engaging experiences, and a lively celebration of the ideas shaping the future of packaging; a vibrant dialogue between heritage and innovation, where timeless craftsmanship meets forward-thinking creativity.
The Pentawards Festival will also make its highly anticipated return for a second year. As a global celebration of design excellence, it will once again bring together the design and creative community through inspiring conferences and a dedicated design agency village. Together, these five events promise an unparalleled experience for the global packaging community, combining inspiration, innovation, and opportunity under one roof.
Focusing on six key pillars – Innovation, Creativity, Outstanding, Network, Inclusion, and Celebration – the 25th anniversary edition reflects its ambition to celebrate the creative force of the packaging industry and its ability to anticipate social, economic, and environmental change. As a leading platform for sourcing and inspiration, Paris Packaging Week will shine a spotlight on emerging talent and the diversity of a constantly evolving industry.
Festive and Ambitious
Building on the remarkable success of 2025, which saw a 27% rise in visitor numbers, Paris Packaging Week 2026 will embrace a new, celebratory dimension, inviting its community to mark a quarter century of collective innovation. The event is already shaping up to be a true international crossroads of ideas, trends, and opportunities.
Besides the return of the Pentawards Festival, another key highlight is the brand-new Innovation Awards Party – an exclusive evening event held on the eve of the show at one of Paris’s most iconic venues, the Pavillon Vendôme. The party will officially open Paris Packaging Week in true style and will also honour the winners in a festive, networking-focused atmosphere.
Packaging Reimagined: Pulse of Modern Innovation
With the forthcoming EU Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), the Refill & Reuse Zone is set to be one of the standout features of this edition. Dedicated to sustainable innovation, this new area is organised in partnership with the New European Reuse Alliance (New ERA) – Europe’s leading association promoting refillable and reusable solutions. It will shine a spotlight on the pioneers of reusable packaging and innovations redefining packaging within a circular, sustainable, and desirable model.
Also returning in 2026 is the Discovery Zone, launched in 2025 as a hub for innovation. This year, it offers an expanded vision of the future of packaging, featuring 20 start-ups, new materials and products, and a preview of emerging technologies such as AI and smart packaging that are reshaping the industry.
Following its success last year, the PCD Full-Service Zone will also be back for a second edition, with a larger space and more exhibitors, offering an enhanced focus on luxury, cosmetics, and fragrance packaging.
“This 25th edition has a special resonance: it all began with PCD in 2001, focused on the beauty market, and since then, Paris Packaging Week has continued to grow and diversify alongside the industry,” says Josh Brooks, Co-Event Director, Paris Packaging Week. “Our ambition for 2026 is to deliver a truly ICONIC experience – inspiring, connected, and forward-looking – celebrating the innovation, creativity, and talent shaping the packaging of tomorrow.
Opening Hours: (5 February 2026) 9 am – 7.30 pm, (6 February 2026) 9 am – 5 pm.
