In its 5th edition, PAPER-ME 2013 is the largest event to date. The show which is targeting Africa & MENA markets will be held between November 28 and 30, 2013 at Cairo International Convention Center (CICC).
The show is set to attract 10.000 trade visitors from 40 countries in addition to hosting official trade missions from targeted countries in Africa & MENA.
PAPER-ME 2013 features 200 worldwide Exhibitors from 30 countries, including group participation from China & India. The participant companies will showcase their range of products and services including paper, board and tissue as well as consumables, printing and packaging technologies,
The Paper Industry Technical Conference (PAPER-TECH 20) is also planned to be held in conjunction with PAPER-ME 2013.

The Middle East & African markets for paper is expected to continue to grow in the near future, with recent figures indicating that the region would have to produce at least 28 million tons of paper to fulfill its needs of its population by 2020.
Egyptian market for paper, tissue, paper board, and pulp is expected to grow at an annual rate of 10% over the next three years. Egypt imports 78% of its annual paper consumption and only 22% are sourced locally.
