Massivit 3D, the leading provider of large format 3D printing solutions for visual communication applications, has today announced that it will use FESPA 2018 (15-18th May) for the European premiere of the Massivit 1500 Exploration 3D Printer. Visitors to the Massivit 3D stand (Hall 1.1, Stand A55) will see live demonstrations of both the Massivit 1500 and the flagship Massivit 1800 3D Printers.
The company will showcase a vast array of high-impact 3D models. These will highlight the types of innovative, super-sized 3D applications, and enhancements to 2D applications, that large format print service providers can add to their service portfolio to target new revenue streams.
Commenting on the European debut of the Massivit 1500, Avner Israeli, CEO of Massivit 3D, said: “We’ve experienced enormous success with our flagship Massivit 1800 and introducing a second solution expands the accessibility of our technology to a wider market. With the Massivit 1500, print shops of all sizes can benefit from the limitless creativity and new business opportunities enabled by large format 3D printing.”
FESPA attendees will learn how Massivit 3D’s portfolio allows print businesses to go above and beyond the expectations of advertisers, brand managers, and design agencies. Print providers can take inspiration from the range of 3D printed applications on the stand and see how they can turn customers ideas into a successful campaign, display or project, quickly and cost-effectively.
The 3D printed applications on display at FESPA include:
- Football billboard: This impressive model exemplifies how 3D enhancements can elevate traditional 2D signage to a new level. Standing at 1.8m-tall (5.9ft), the football player was produced in less than 20 hours and demonstrates how print service providers can quickly produce personalized models, including individual football players. Utilizing dynamic billboards such as this enables retailers, theme park, and exhibition fabricators to achieve crowd-stopping displays that offer increased customer engagement.
- Channel Letters: Using large format 3D printing, companies can expand their product offering with cost-effectively customized signage for interior or exterior window displays. Providing greater geometric freedom and faster turnaround times compared to traditional methods, Massivit 3D’s solutions open the door to cutting-edge signage. These can incorporate illumination and video mapping, offering enhanced brand awareness.
Commenting on Massivit 3D’s presence at the show, Isabelle Marelly, Marketing Director of Massivit 3D, said: “Our customers are pushing creative boundaries with unique and highly visual signage and displays. FESPA provides the ideal platform to share these achievements with the wider market and encourage others to take advantage of the business enhancing capabilities created by 3D printing. Large format print services can see how our technology enables them to differentiate their business by extending their service offering and maximize campaign budgets to produce stunning applications that genuinely turn heads and engage audiences.”
