Polish label converter Wejherplast has expanded its production capabilities by investing in a second narrow-web flexographic platform from Lombardi Converting Machinery.
The company recently finalised the installation of a Synchroline Viper 350 press at its facility. The high-performance equipment was supplied through Reprograf-Grafikus, Lombardi’s authorised distribution partner in Poland.
Built with advanced automation, the Synchroline Viper 350 is designed to maximise productivity, flexibility, and precise printing control, delivering next-generation technology as a direct follow-on to Wejherplast’s first Lombardi press.
“Our cooperation with Lombardi is developing extremely positively, and this new investment by Wejherplast is an important confirmation of what we are building together in the Polish market,” says Reprograf-Grafikus Managing Director Tomasz Balcerowski. “The new Viper is generating strong interest in Poland: its concept has been very well received by the market, and we currently have several promising discussions underway.”

The investment arrives during a period of robust economic momentum for the region. Poland’s economy continues to project steady growth, while a Polish label market report published ahead of Labelexpo Europe highlights an 80% surge in domestic label production value between 2019 and 2023.
Notably, printed self-adhesive labels, have driven the bulk of this sector, commanding approximately 62% of the total market output.
