The fest featured a variety of cultural and entertainment programmes including group dance, drawing and painting competition for children, and a spot photography competition to capture the essence of the day through the lens of amateur photographers.
Several high-profile individuals from the UAE’s printing and publishing industry participated in the event including Mohammad AlHashimi, Managing Director, Ali Al Hashemi Co. and President, Dubai Business Group for Printing and Publishing, Dubai Chamber of Commerce; Faisal Abdalla, CEO – Printing and Distribution at Dubai Media Inc.; and Vikrant Chhabra, Managing Director, Sona Commercial as the chief guests.
Later in the day, the audience was left spellbound by music band Almaram’s signature energy and on-stage passion accompanied by musician and flutist Rajesh Cherthala’s delicate yet powerful flute tones.
Since its inception 17 years ago, IGSA UAE has grown into a vibrant community of over 500 professionals and entrepreneurs, many from the UAE’s printing industry. With initiatives like a placement cell and student sponsorship programmes, the chapter continues to support its members in their professional career.
