This is the era of disruptive technologies. Developments in artificial intelligence (AI) continue to shape the future of humanity across nearly every industry. Generative AI and AI-driven emerging technologies like big data, Internet of Things (IoT), and robotics have expanded the possibilities and their popularity.
Technology major HP leads the bandwagon of tech giants including Canon, Xerox, and Epson to keep up with AI’s growth progressing at breakneck speed.
As part of expanding its AI footprint, HP has announced participation in the upcoming GITEX GLOBAL 2024 – the largest tech and startup show in the world – to be held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 14-18 October, 2024. The event will serve as a platform for HP to showcase its future-ready portfolio that will drive and transform the hybrid world.
According to HP’s Work Relationship Index this year, the need for AI to drive customisation and autonomy in the workplace is deemed more critical than ever before. The study shows that 87% of workers globally are willing to give up a portion of their salary to have a more personalised work experience. In fact 73% of those already using AI agree it makes their job easier. “HP is leading the way in the Future of Work with AI innovations that empower people to succeed in an AI-driven world, while maintaining a strong focus on security and sustainability. Rather than being a job threat, AI drives a better relationship with work. The latest and greatest across HP’s portfolio will be showcased at this year’s GITEX GLOBAL,” says Peter Oganesean, Managing Director, HP Inc. Middle East and East Africa.
The Dubai show will see HP collaborate with industry leaders such as Intel and NVIDIA to demonstrate how AI-driven technology empowers businesses and individuals alike. HP’s adaptive PCs with built-in AI capabilities, like the next gen 2-in-1 AI PC tailor-made for creators and freelancers will be on show. Also on display will be HP’s secure printing technologies that aim to reinforce privacy as a fundamental right, integrating the latest advancements to protect and safeguard sensitive information.
Customers and partners attending GITEX will also have the opportunity to access HP’s expanded Workforce Solutions that focuses on AI-driven productivity enhancements, and sustainability initiatives like HOPE Recycling Futures that gives PCs eligible for disposal a second life, through remanufacturing and global donation.
