The Civil Defence Forces in Shubra El-Kheima recently controlled a horrific fire incident, which broke out in the Arab Company for trade, packaging and cardboard production. The fire reportedly did not create any serious injuries or loss of life.
The Civil defence team was headed by Lt. Col. Imad Ayad and his team members. They acted on call and due to their quick action were successful in controlling and extinguishing the fire, preventing further damages. Reports say that Mohammed Algosairy, Director Criminal Investigations, Cairo is probing the cause behind the incident.
According to Osama Saad, owner of the factory, a short circuit led to the fire. Osama said that he didn’t suspect any criminal intentions behind the incident. CID and forensic experts were also commissioned to find further clues.
