In a recent development, Dr. Mansour Hassan, President of Egypt’s Beni-Suef University conducted an annual review of the achievements of the varsity’s printing and publishing centre, for a period running from 1 July, 2021 to 30 June, 2022. Director of the printing centre Dr. Nagy Radwan and other members of the board along with several top university officials attended the meeting.
Dr. Hassan praised the efforts of the centre at the administrative level for meeting all printing requirements of the university including promotions and job works, application forms for new students, files for admission tests to the College of Physical Education and College of Applied Arts, brochures and guides of the university colleges and institutes, master’s and doctoral theses, printing related to occupational health and safety sectors, university administration, university hospital, publications of various university conferences and celebrations, and recently the printing of all files and documents, regulations, programmes, and brochures for other private universities.
The printing and publishing centre is equipped with advanced offset and digital presses and photocopying machines for printing textbooks, scientific dissertations, and other publications. The centre has also acquired a Braille printing unit for the benefit of visually impaired students. Equipped with the first such specialized printer amongst Egyptian universities has widened the centre’s scope for producing a variety of printed materials for several organizations including private universities, government agencies, sports organizations for the visually challenged, and a number of health centres in Beni Suef.
