The MoU was signed by Brigadier Engineer Abdul Azeez Abdullah al Ansari, Director of Logistics Department on behalf of Ministry, and Abdullah Saleh Al Raisi, the CEO of Commercial Bank. The signing ceremony was attended by Major Faisal al Ansari, head of Police Press, Sandeep Chouhan, COO of the Group of Commercial Bank, and Ali Haimani, Head of the operations.

Brigadier Abdullah al Ansari said that financial and banking institutions demand highest quality printed products that comply with international standards in order to meet the requirements of their customers. He stressed that the Security Press is ready to meet all the requirements and specifications required by the financial institutions and banks offering them high quality printed products while following the strictest international standards.  He added that within next few days more details regarding the deal will be announced which will give a better picture about the size of the agreement.

For his part, Abdullah Saleh said that this Ministry’s initiative to set up a Security Press will benefit financial institutions in Qatar, which up until now had to outsource their security printing requirement to other countries. This was a huge burden for the banks creating delays and other logistical issues.
