Canon Production Printing, an imaging technology giant, will host the IGI Technical Conference 2024 for the wallcoverings industry at its headquarters in Venlo, the Netherlands, from 14-16 October, 2024. The three-day conference is organized by IGI, the Global Wallcoverings Association.
The IGI Technical Conference provides an opportunity to discover cutting-edge technologies, including the latest advancements in digital wallcoverings and wallpaper design; network with top industry experts and like-minded professionals from around the globe; and experience breakthrough ideas and trends that will inspire creativity in interior décor and digital printing. Dirk Brouns, Vice President Large Format Graphics at Canon Production Printing will welcome the delegates to its Venlo headquarters on the second day (15 October, 2024). The afternoon session at the Canon Customer Experience Center will look into wallcovering sales and market insights.
This year’s conference provides industry updates on the digital wallpaper market, technology, digital wallpaper printing, and IGI standards and legal updates. Other expert sessions will cover a variety of topics including fine art and digital wallpapers, embossing proofing using digital printing, material choice to enable wallcoverings in healthcare and hospitality environments, social responsibility and sustainable procurement applicable to the wallcoverings sector, local on-demand personalized production and challenges with wallpaper, hand painting and digital printing, and new wallcoverings digital media types.
