Printkom, the authorised distributors for Canon printing solutions in Lebanon for the graphic arts sector hosted an event which saw over 400 industry professionals converge to discuss the latest trends in the Lebanese book printing and publishing industry. The event, aimed at industry players explored the latest technological innovations as well as trends shaping the local book printing landscape.
The event’s keynote speech was delivered by Dr. George Nubar Simonian of Helwan University of Applied Arts, who discussed the trends in the region and how this will affect the potential of the Lebanese book printing industry. He also explored the relationship between book publishing tools and the future of book printing technology.

During the event, Canon experts provided an overview of the latest product portfolio covering each stage of the production process – including prepress, printing and finishing. The evening also included a number of informative sessions where attendees had the chance to learn more about the booming areas of on-demand book production, short-run printing and personalised content.
