Antalis, a global distributor of papers, packaging, and visual communication solutions, has expanded its operations in the European packaging market with the acquisition of Speidel Verpackungen, a German manufacturer of custom-made packaging solutions. The acquisition strengthens Antalis’ market share in in the bespoke packaging sector, identified as an important growth driver for the group.
Based in Baden-Württemberg, Speidel Verpackungen serves a broad customer base across industries including medical technology, mechanical engineering, metalworking, and automotive. The company specialises in corrugated and heavy-duty corrugated board integrated with wood and foam materials, utilising a collaborative, consultative approach to deliver solution-oriented designs for its customers.
