The capital city’s airport caters to over 50 international airports that connect Abu Dhabi to more than 95 destinations in over 49 countries. At the same time, the high profile and diverse demography of the passengers that travel through Abu Dhabi airport make it a unique and attractive location for effective advertising.
James E. Bennett, CEO of ADAC, explained, “ADAC chose GMI after a close scrutiny and after comparing the other bids that were presented at the tender. GMI uses state of the art technology, has good knowledge of the Middle East market, and is known for its strategic planning. All these placed GMI on top of the list. Today both ADAC and GMI are well positioned to provide over 12 million international passengers the latest available media displays.”
Fathi Al Mohammad, Chairman of GMI, added, “We are excited to continue our relationship with ADAC and look forward to create solutions that will complement the world class facility available at ADAC. The demographic profile of the airport is diverse and we are thrilled to introduce our latest and most innovative advertising platforms to this audience segment and consolidate our position in the airport advertising sector.”
GMI has operated in association with the airport since the year 2000 and as part of their long standing relationship will invest in new state of the art displays, which will enable businesses to communicate and provide a market to captivate upscale audience and thereby provide a positive travel experience for travellers.
